Question: do we have to change the mineral stones every year? My brother says these stones do not lose their minerals because they are in water. Please give me an explanation why we have to change them every year also with regards to the silver stones...why?

Answer:Thank you for your inquiry . It is recommended to change the filters every year and the Mineral rocks are recommended to change every 2 years ! See what the company recommends: “All PiMag filters usually last approximately one year. In some cases filters may need more frequent replacement, depending on the quality of the inlet water and the amount of use.”
